INDEPENDENT CONCEPT STUDY / 02RIYADH · OCTOBER 2026

Events
at Stitch.

Make the product tangible.
Make the conversation count.

STRATEGY · EXPERIENCE · PHYSICAL IDENTITY

Four audiences. Four working demonstrations.

THE APPROACH

Start with their problem.
Show the product at work.

I’d give each audience a familiar problem to step into, then a practical way to explore how Stitch could address it.

A blocked application. A credit file waiting for an answer. A balance that needs explaining. A payment route that needs changing.

PROJECT STATUS
Independent proposal
01 / PRODUCT-LED INSTALLATIONS

Choose the audience.

Four proposed buying groups, based on Stitch’s public product pages. Buyer roles and activations are my recommendations.

01 / BANKS

The Missing Handoff

One customer. Too many handoffs.

WHO I WOULD INVITE

Heads of digital banking, onboarding and operations

4-minute hosted walkthrough
The Missing HandoffIndependent concept visualization
BEFORE / ILLUSTRATIVE FRICTION

A customer token moves between three disconnected desks. Each asks for the same information. A missing approval leaves the account waiting.

WITH STITCH / PROPOSED DEMO

Move the same token through a configured application, account-opening step and first funding event. Show the review branch and the corresponding ledger record.

01Apply02Review03Open04Fund
WHAT THE GUEST DOES

Pick a fictional customer. Find the stalled handoff. Rebuild the journey with three connected modules.

WHAT WE LEAVE WITH

A map of the bank’s onboarding bottleneck and a focused Applications + Deposits discovery session.

THE QUESTION THAT STARTS THE CONVERSATION

“Where does a complete application stop moving?”

Build notes & product basis +

The installationTwo counters, three trays, one tablet and a magnetic customer token. A portable tabletop version works first.

The product basisApplications provides configurable onboarding workflows. Deposits supports account creation and funding. Ledgers records the resulting movements.

02 / LENDERS & BNPL PROVIDERS

The Underwriter’s Desk

Less chasing files. More clarity on the decision.

WHO I WOULD INVITE

Heads of lending, credit, risk and product

5-minute hosted walkthrough
The Underwriter’s DeskIndependent concept visualization
BEFORE / ILLUSTRATIVE FRICTION

A desk of fictional application packs, spreadsheets and follow-up slips. The guest has to find the missing fact before the case can move.

WITH STITCH / PROPOSED DEMO

Run the same synthetic case through an Applications workflow, a configured decision rule and a Loans repayment schedule. Show an exception going to human review, then trace a repayment in Ledgers.

01Apply02Decide / refer03Disburse04Repay
WHAT THE GUEST DOES

Choose a digital-loan or BNPL scenario. Spot the missing document. Compare the handoffs with a connected workflow.

WHAT WE LEAVE WITH

One agreed workflow problem, its required data and a follow-up with the credit and product owners.

THE QUESTION THAT STARTS THE CONVERSATION

“Which step creates the most back-and-forth for your credit team?”

Build notes & product basis +

The installationTwo existing desks, printed synthetic case packs, a borrowed screen and four reusable stage tiles.

The product basisApplications supports decision rules and referrals. Loans covers origination, servicing and repayment operations. BNPL is a published Stitch use case.

03 / WALLET FINTECHS

Follow One Riyal

A simple payment. A traceable money trail.

WHO I WOULD INVITE

Product leads, CTOs and finance / reconciliation teams

4-minute hosted walkthrough
Follow One RiyalIndependent concept visualization
BEFORE / ILLUSTRATIVE FRICTION

Three separate balance displays and receipt trays. A refund lands, but the guest has to reconstruct what changed and where.

WITH STITCH / PROPOSED DEMO

Move one token through a top-up, payment and refund. Reveal the linked transaction timeline and paired ledger postings at each step.

01Top up02Pay03Refund04Trace
WHAT THE GUEST DOES

Follow a synthetic SAR transaction. Trigger a refund. Identify the record that explains the updated balance.

WHAT WE LEAVE WITH

A shared view of the wallet’s reconciliation gap and a technical session on the money flow.

THE QUESTION THAT STARTS THE CONVERSATION

“Can your operations team explain a disputed balance from one timeline?”

Build notes & product basis +

The installationOne token track, three balance counters, a paired-posting board and a small screen. Start with magnetic cards.

The product basisStitch describes wallet funding, spending and transfers. Its Ledgers product uses double-entry records, while Transactions handles payment processing.

04 / CARD & PAYMENT PROVIDERS

The Switchboard

Make the rules visible. Follow the payment.

Disconnected route boxes and manual approval cards. A new spending rule or unavailable route exposes the handoffs between systems.

WITH STITCH / PROPOSED DEMO

Configure a sample virtual card, test a spend control, then trace a permitted payment through a routing diagram and ledger entry. Compare two pre-approved route scenarios.

01Configure02Test03Route04Record
WHAT THE GUEST DOES

Set a limit. Try an allowed and a declined transaction. Switch the simulated route and explain what happens next.

WHAT WE LEAVE WITH

A card-control or routing requirement that Sales and Product can scope with the account.

THE QUESTION THAT STARTS THE CONVERSATION

“Which card rule or payment route is hardest to change today?”

Build notes & product basis +

The installationA magnetic route wall, virtual-card tiles, rule gates and a tablet. Start with a tabletop board.

The product basisCards supports configurable card programs and controls. Transactions provides a unified switch with rules-based routing. The exhibit is a conceptual walkthrough, not a resilience benchmark.

“Before” illustrates a fragmented workflow, not every institution’s current setup. All demonstrations use synthetic data and would be reviewed with Stitch’s product team. No live credit decisions or payment execution are implied.

02 / WHY START WITH UNDERWRITING

Why the Underwriter’s Desk
goes first in Saudi
and the UAE.

Underwriting sits where Vision 2030 financing goals meet day-to-day lender work. Credit is growing fast in both markets, and the decision behind each loan is still the slow, paper-heavy part. That makes it a pain point buyers recognise and a good first conversation to validate.

SAUDI ARABIA / SME LENDING GAP9.4% vs 20%

MSME loans were 9.4% of Saudi bank portfolios in 2024. The Vision 2030 target is 20%.

SAUDI ARABIA / MSME CREDITSAR 467bn

MSME credit facilities at end of 2025, up 33% from SAR 351.7bn a year earlier.

UAE / SME LENDING GAP9.5%

SME loans were 9.5% of bank facilities to commercial and industrial sectors in H1 2024 (AED 81.2bn).

Every figure is a public market figure from SAMA, CBUAE or press reports, with its year. These are market facts, not Stitch data and not results from this pilot.

WHY IT IS A REAL PAIN
  1. 01

Volume is growing faster than the processSaudi bank loans reached SAR 3.17tn in May 2025, up 16.28% year on year. UAE bank gross credit reached AED 2,570bn in December 2025, up 17.9%. More applications means more files to read.

  2. 02

The data to decide faster is opening upThe UAE Open Finance Regulation came into force on 10 July 2025 and covers loans, credit cards and accounts. SAMA runs an Open Banking Framework and a testing lab. Lenders can now pull permissioned data, if their workflow can use it.

  3. 03

New lenders have to underwrite from day oneSAMA licenses BNPL companies, with minimum capital of SAR 5m. Saudi finance companies held SAR 99.4bn in credit at Q2 2025, up 10.2%, about 3.1% of bank financing: small, growing, and buying systems.

05 / THE WIDER EVENT PROGRAM

Six ways to bring
the right people together.

The installations can live inside these formats. Start small, then reuse the strongest demonstration across dinners, workshops and exhibitions.

The Product Foundry

Infrastructure is hard to picture. A physical workbench gives visitors a simple way to explore how a financial product fits together.

Experience & planning notes +

Choose a product brief. Move the modules. Ask a specialist to walk through the matching synthetic journey.

Useful output: A product blueprint and, where there is a fit, an agreed working session with Sales and Product.

The Next Product Table

A small dinner creates space for the questions that rarely surface on a conference floor. The conversation starts with a customer problem.

Experience & planning notes +

Share a product ambition, identify the operating constraint and compare perspectives with a carefully chosen group. Private questions stay private.
